VNCCS, short for Visual Novel Character Creation Suite, is a set of custom nodes for ComfyUI, a visual tool for building AI image generation workflows. It solves a specific problem: when you use an AI image generator to create character art for something like a visual novel, keeping that same character looking consistent across many different poses, outfits, and expressions is normally very difficult. VNCCS turns that into a guided, repeatable process. The suite covers the full life of a character. You create a new character and either describe them with tags or use a wizard that fills in details from a plain description, choosing an AI model suited to your available computer power along the way. There is also a cloning workflow for turning an existing picture, drawn, downloaded, or generated elsewhere, into a VNCCS-style character, as long as the source image is good quality and shows the full body. A pose studio lets you pick or copy poses, including importing a pose directly from a reference picture, and a background removal step separates the character from its backdrop, with an extra option to protect fine details like eye color from being lost. Once a character exists, you can design multiple outfits for them, describing individual clothing elements such as head and face items so accessories like glasses or hats are preserved consistently when emotions are generated later.
