wtf is claude-skills-fable-opus?

claude-skills-fable-opus, also called NUX Pack, is a small collection of six skills for Claude Code, the command line coding assistant. A skill in this context is a packaged set of instructions that changes how the assistant behaves for certain kinds of tasks. All six skills in this pack were written using a model the author calls Claude Fable 5, then tested against Claude Opus 4.8 in blind comparisons where a grader did not know which output came from which setup. According to the README, across fourteen of these blind comparisons the pack won twelve, tied two, and lost none. The project states plainly that it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, the company that makes Claude. The six skills are named plan-gate, adversarial-verify, live-state-truth, scope-fence, ruthless-editor, and memory-hygiene.
