Wtf does this do

claude-skills-fable-opus, also called NUX Pack, is a small collection of six skills for Claude Code, the command line coding assistant. A skill in this context is a packaged set of instructions that changes how the assistant behaves for certain kinds of tasks. All six skills in this pack were written using a model the author calls Claude Fable 5, then tested against Claude Opus 4.8 in blind comparisons where a grader did not know which output came from which setup. According to the README, across fourteen of these blind comparisons the pack won twelve, tied two, and lost none. The project states plainly that it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, the company that makes Claude. The six skills are named plan-gate, adversarial-verify, live-state-truth, scope-fence, ruthless-editor, and memory-hygiene. The README notes each one's individual score from the blind grading process, most winning both of their matchups outright, with two of them scoring a win plus a tie plus an additional win in a held out test. The README also points to a separate file, benchmarks.md, which it says contains the full method used, every task given to the models, every rubric used to judge the outputs, and every run, including the losses. To install the pack, a user either manually creates a skills folder in their home directory and copies the six skill folders into it, or runs a provided install script from inside the downloaded project folder. The README recommends inspecting that script before running it. Once a skill's file is placed correctly, Claude Code is said to detect and load it automatically without any further configuration.
