Must be running Project Zomboid version 42.14.1, other versions are not guaranteed to work.
Project Zomboid is a survival game where your weapons, tools, and vehicle parts slowly degrade with use. When you repair them, the game normally applies a penalty, each fix restores less durability than the one before, until the item is effectively beyond saving. Infinite Repairs is a mod that removes that penalty entirely, so every repair brings the item back to full condition, no matter how many times you've already fixed it. The mod is split into two independent pieces. One handles items you repair from your inventory, like fixing a cracked baseball bat with duct tape. The other covers repairs done through the vehicle mechanics screen, like swapping out a worn engine part. You can enable either or both from the game's mod menu, depending on which aspect of the repair system you want to change. This is for Project Zomboid players who find the vanilla repair penalty too punishing or who simply want a more forgiving long-term survival experience. If you've ever been frustrated that your favorite weapon becomes useless after a few fixes, or that your car's engine can't be kept running despite constant maintenance, this mod removes that wall. It's a quality-oflife change rather than new content, the game plays the same way, just without the shrinking returns on repairs. Installation is straightforward: you copy the mod files into your Zomboid user directory and toggle it on in-game. The mod was built for Project Zomboid version 42.14.1, so if you're running a different version there's no guarantee everything will work as expected. It's written in Lua, which is what Project Zomboid's modding system uses, and the first release dates to March 2026.
A Project Zomboid mod that removes the vanilla repair penalty, so every repair restores items and vehicle parts to full durability no matter how many times you've fixed them before.
