The project is marked under construction with an unchecked roadmap, so most planned features are not yet implemented.
Bom Curriculo, also called ATS Resume Builder, is an open source project aimed at generating resumes that are optimized to pass through Applicant Tracking Systems, the automated software many companies use to screen job applications before a human ever sees them. The README marks the project as still under construction, and its own roadmap shows every planned feature as not yet completed, so this describes the intended design rather than a finished, working tool. The idea is that users can feed the system several optional sources of information about themselves: an existing resume, a LinkedIn profile exported as a PDF, a GitHub profile, an online portfolio, personal details, and the description of a target job. You do not need to provide all of them, just enough information for the system to generate a resume from. Planned features include analyzing a LinkedIn profile, analyzing a GitHub profile, analyzing a portfolio, matching a resume against a specific job description, generating an ATS-friendly resume, and optimizing an existing resume. An early interface prototype was built in Figma to work out the user experience and layout before writing the actual application. That prototype envisions a dashboard showing an ATS score overview, a general resume performance indicator, AI generated optimization tips, a list of uploaded resumes, tracking of job application progress, and a sidebar for navigating the platform. The README notes this design is still evolving and may change. The roadmap lists resume generation, a LinkedIn PDF parser, GitHub integration, portfolio analysis, job matching, multiple resume templates, and export to both PDF and DOCX as upcoming work, all currently unchecked. The project welcomes contributions and asks contributors to read its CONTRIBUTING.md file before submitting a pull request. It is written in PHP and released under the MIT license. The README is provided in both English and Portuguese.
